LINCOLN, AL – June 25, 2024 – Central Alabama Community College (CACC), in partnership with Dovetail Landing, is pleased to begin a series of unique workforce development training programs as part of the Alabama Community College’s Skills for Success initiative. These programs, tailored exclusively for veterans, are designed to enhance their skills and credentials and provide a supportive environment for successful transitions into civilian careers.

The training will take place on June 26 and 27. These specialized training programs will be hosted at Dovetail Landing, providing veterans with comprehensive opportunities to enhance their skill sets in a variety of fields. CACC will utilize its deep industry expertise, resources, and connections to offer veterans impactful training and career guidance.

President Jeff Lynn of CACC shared his enthusiasm for the program’s upcoming launch: “We are excited to offer these dedicated training programs for our veterans in collaboration with Dovetail Landing. By harnessing our educational and training expertise alongside Dovetail Landing’s supportive environment, we aim to empower our veterans with the critical skills and opportunities they need to excel in their post-military careers.”
