FIRST DAY COMPLETE BOOKS
First Day Complete Books is a program now offered through Barnes & Nobles to ensure you have access to all required books on the first day of class with ease! Upon registration, you are automatically enrolled into the program and will be charged $24 per credit hour for a cost-effective access to all required course materials.
Once registered, Barnes & Noble will send instructions for obtaining physical course materials via email. Please follow instructions in this email to select delivery preferences for physical course materials. Physical books can either be delivered to your preferred campus or mailed directly to you, based on your selection. Digital access is available to you via email and through the learning management system (currently Blackboard).
HOW TO OPT-OUT OF THE FIRST DAY COMPLETE PROGRAM:
If you prefer to opt out of the First Day Complete program and purchase your course materials individually, you may opt out by following these instructions:
- Go to www.cacc.edu/books
- Click “Want to opt out” under the Links section on the right
*PLEASE NOTE: This opt-out option is only available during the period beginning one week prior to the first day of class and ending the last day of drop/add. Second mini terms do not have an opt out option. They will follow the status of the full term /first mini term.

FIRST DAY COMPLETE BOOK RETURNS
Make sure to return all physical books received through the First Day Complete Book program to the bookstore by the last day of final exams. If unreturned by the deadline, your account may be subject to a charge equaling the full cost of each unreturned item.
