Trojans Sit Second After Day One at NJCAA Southeast Regional

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — No. 4-ranked Central Alabama Community College men’s golf holds second place after 36 holes at the NJCAA Southeast Regional, being played April 20–21 at Lagoon Park.

The Trojans posted a two-round team score of 9-over par, trailing No. 10 Palm Beach State, which leads the field at even par. No. 8 Eastern Florida State sits in third at 15-over.

CACC was paced by Grant Goslin, who fired rounds of 71 and 72 to finish the day at 1-under par, placing him in a tie for third individually. Zane Aiken followed closely at 1-over with rounds of 73 and 70.

Kian Bystol-Flores carded a 6-over total, while Easton Haworth and Hayden Canary finished the day at 8-over and 9-over, respectively.

Individually, Carter Brooks of Palm Beach State leads the field at 3-under, followed by Eastern Florida State’s Jamie Smith at 2-under. Goslin is tied at 1-under alongside Palm Beach State’s Peter Le Gassick.

Play resumes Tuesday at 8 a.m. as the Trojans look to close the gap and compete for a regional title and a berth in the national tournament.
