Marine Service Technician

Program Overview 

The Marine Service Technician program prepares students for careers in the maintenance and repair of marine vessels, including boats and personal watercraft. Students gain hands-on experience with marine engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, and other key components, learning how to troubleshoot and perform repairs on both inboard and outboard motors. The program also covers essential topics such as marine electronics, navigation systems, and boat construction, along with safety procedures and environmental regulations. Graduates are equipped to work as marine service technicians, boat mechanics, and marine equipment specialists, serving customers in marinas, dealerships, and boatyards. This program provides students with the skills needed to work in a rapidly growing industry, ensuring that they are ready for a successful career in marine service and repair.
